NYC!

All my past 3 visits to New York have been day trips and I have only been able to enjoy glimpses of the Big Apple in every trip. What I would really love to do is take a week off (or longer if work allows), rent an apartment on Broadway and experience the whole city and its unique lifestyle.

But till then, here are a few of my favorite pics from the recent day-trip to NYC.

Street food:

Btw, I had to add that one of the best frankies I had ever had was at 'Roti Roll Bombay Frankie' on 994 Amsterdam Ave. Not exactly street food - but just deliciously mouth-watering!

The yellow cab:

City buzz:
I realized that if you don't want to get onto the tour bus, but want close-up pics of the rush hour crowd at Times-square, try taking the local bus on Broadway Street for a few stops. That is two dollars very well spent.

The Avenues and the Skyscrapers:
Times Square tourists and the countless cameras:
And finally, the skyline:
Hamilton Park in Weehawken offers gorgeous views of the city.

Looking forward to the next NYC trip (and hopefully, a longer one)!
